Members who have benefited from the experience
of marching with the Corps have taken the opportunity
to take their personal experiences further. All the members
fitted a tour in the USA into their 37th schedule. |

Joe Rodwell aged 21: Soprano
Marched with the Blue Devils in 2004.
Joe is currently studying music at London University.
He has now taken on the role as the brass arranger with
the Corps and is starting to make his mark as a musical
arranger. Joe is a keen musician who is now exploring
all avenues of music from classical to Jazz.

Carl Curtis aged 22: Tenors
Marched with the Colts in 2003 & 2004.
Carl has developed through the Kingswood organisation
over the past 14 years and is now the Caption Head and
arranger of the Percussion Section. Highlight of his drum
corps career was marching 2 years with the Colts and ageing
out as the section Leader. He feels that the experience
has gained in this activity have benefited the rest of
his life. "I found that in the work environment I
was able to communicate with all types of people. I know
its because of the social skills I learnt in my time in
this activity." He is a keen musician who is passionate
of drum corps and lives for his drumming. His life experience
has set him up as an ideal mentor for the younger generation
coming through the Corps. |

Alex Fricker aged 22: Mellophone/Contra Bass
Marched with the Glassmen in 2004
Alex has grown up with the 37th and is now a key member
of the drill and brass staff. In his spare time outside
of senior corps he is a key member of staff with the Cadet
Corps. Alex has like the other members mention gained
much experience from his venture with Glassmen which he
now passes on to the younger element of the Corps.

Daniel Gannaway-Pitts age 19: Soprano
Marched with the Colts in 2005
Daniel has been a marching member of 37th since 2000,
prior to this he marched with a local Corps in Gloucester.
He has learnt from his experience with Kingswood which
has helped him develop his instructional and leadership
skills. He continues to march both in the States and the
UK and is exploring avenues of improving his playing abilities
by performing with ensemble groups within the UK.

Robert Quick aged 19: Baritone
Marched with Santa Clara Vanguard in 2005
Rob started marching with Kingswood in 1993 in the cadet
Corp. He moved into the senior Corps in 1998 and has been
with the Corps throughout. He has played in various sections
and is now in the Baritone line as a key player. Rob is
the Corps webmaster and is at present studying I.T. as
his main career subject.

Andrew Jefferies aged 21: Snare
Marched with Carolina Crown in 2005
Andy is the principle snare at 37th. His knowledge and
experience puts him as one of the top snare technicians
in the country. Andy also plays a significant part in
the arrangements of the percussion, with his vast experience
gained marching with Sunrisers and Crown offers great
opportunities for the future of the Corps. |
